7:45 Low cloud/mist on site as was forecast yesterday. Looks like it will be a waiting game today ! I will post any updates as soon as I have them.

Site is still heavily overcast

UPDATE 12:10 

The latest forecast gives little to no potential that the birds can be liberated from Rugby today. The Met Office forecast for tomorrow includes a yellow warning of heavy rain from Manchester to the south coast (21:00 hours tonight until 18:00 Sunday) and the latest forecast on BBC is also warning of thunderstorms through the Midlands.

The birds are therefore being brought back to Upper Heyford with the intention that we can get a liberation this afternoon. Birds have already been liberated there and we hope that the weather holds out.

Solent Fed birds liberated at 13:30 from Upper Heyford in broken clouds and sunshine and a light southerly wind. Good luck all !
